Quicktime without iTunes

I confess. I've given in to the Apple juggernaut and converted to iTunes. There was a time when I proudly ran Winamp and ephPod, but that time has passed. And the truth is, I like iTunes pretty well. It's good gear.

Before I switched over, I wanted to install QuickTime without iTunes and it turned out to be a lot harder than it should have been. I eventually found this page which gave me the link that I needed.
